In the Palestinian city of Jericho, there is simply nowhere safe for girls and women to participate in sport or exercise. In a community of around 23,000 where roughly half are female, there is no facility or club that offers a space suitable for exercise or sport programs.

We are working to change that.

The Athletes Table is a community of athletes and former athletes who believe that every person on the planet should have SIMPLE access to sport! We define SIMPLE access as safe, inclusive, mentored, public, local, and equitable access to sport opportunities. We are working to ensure this right for all people on earth, specifically in Jericho, where this project is taking place!
