NATALI SHAHEEN WINS SPORT AND HUMAN RIGHTS AWARD
We are thrilled to announce that Natali Shaheen, a true champion both on and off the field, has been awarded the prestigious Amnesty International “Sport and Human Rights Award”. Natali's unwavering commitment to promoting social justice through sport is truly inspiring.
As an athlete, she has used her platform to raise awareness about important human rights issues, advocating for gender equality, justice, and inclusivity. Whether it's fighting against discrimination, addressing systemic inequities, or supporting marginalized communities, Natali has consistently displayed empathy, resilience, and a deep understanding of the impact sport can have in driving positive societal change.
Her dedication and passion make her a true role model, and we applaud her for receiving this well-deserved recognition. Natali received this honor alongside BBC football commentator Gary Lineker.
We are excited to continue to work alongside Natali, and support her dream to see her hometown of Jericho have SIMPLE access to sport!
