WE DID IT!
We have completed the brand new Gerbers Family Court.
For 3 years we have been working towards establishing a safe space for the boys and girls of Jericho to play the sports they love.
The work is not finished, but we are so proud of this historic accomplishment and all of our partners and friends that made it possible!
However, though the work continues, we can now confidently say… Jericho has somewhere to play.
A PATH TO SUSTAINABLE SPORT IN JERICHO.
SPORTS CAMPS
Our first step is to provide quarterly sports camps to ensure there are year-round sport and exercise opportunities for Jericho's youth. We enjoy hosting groups that help put these camps on each quarter.
FACILITY
Next, we strive to provide a facility. A facility is a crucial piece of the puzzle. It ensures a safe space is available to the entire community, especially girls and women. They need the space to learn, grow, and experience the power of sport.
SPORTS CLUB
Our last initiative is to provide a holistic sports club. This will provide the sustainability needed to ensure the community has consistent access to quality mentors, programs, and camaraderie.
